These terms govern the use of our website and describe the arrangement between Alderwick Sero and clients who engage our electrical services. Please read them carefully.

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to all service arrangements entered into with Alderwick Sero ("we", "us", "our"), a home electrical services business registered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

By using this website or by engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If any part of these terms is unclear, please contact us before proceeding.

2. Our Services

Alderwick Sero provides residential electrical services in Kuala Lumpur, including but not limited to:

  • Thoughtful Home Assessment — a written inspection report of a residential property's electrical installation.
  • Lighting & Fixture Craft — supply and installation of lighting, ceiling fans, and related fittings.
  • Main Panel Restoration — inspection, cleaning, testing, and updating of a residential distribution board.

All work is carried out by qualified electricians holding the relevant Malaysian ST Licence. We reserve the right to decline any job that falls outside our scope of practice, or where site conditions make safe working impractical.

3. Bookings and Appointments

A booking is confirmed once we have communicated acceptance to you by phone, email, or written message. We will provide an estimated time of arrival and expected duration. Where these change, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property and for informing us of any known conditions that may affect the work (such as known hazards, water damage, or pre-existing modifications).

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or repeat no-shows may result in a booking fee being applied to future appointments.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices quoted are based on the service description and expected scope. Where work reveals unforeseen complications — such as concealed damage, non-standard fittings, or conditions not disclosed at the time of booking — we will inform you before proceeding with any additional work and obtain your agreement on revised pricing.

Current indicative pricing:

  • Thoughtful Home Assessment — RM 665 (approx. USD 150)
  • Lighting & Fixture Craft — from RM 1,555 (approx. USD 350)
  • Main Panel Restoration — RM 3,370 (approx. USD 760)

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and cash. Receipts are provided for all completed work.

5. Your Responsibilities

To allow us to carry out work safely and effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide clear and safe access to the relevant areas of the property.
  • Inform us of any known electrical issues, damage, or previous modifications prior to the visit.
  • Ensure any pets or children are kept at a safe distance from the work area during the visit.
  • Provide accurate contact details so we can reach you regarding your appointment.
  • Not interfere with or modify work in progress without first consulting us.

6. Our Work and Workmanship

All work is carried out to the standard expected of a competent licensed electrician in Malaysia, in accordance with the relevant Malaysian Standards (MS IEC 60364 series) and applicable regulations under the Electricity Supply Act 1990.

We provide written records of significant work performed, including circuit labeling updates following panel work and assessment reports following inspection visits.

We do not accept liability for pre-existing faults or conditions not attributable to our work, nor for issues arising from subsequent modifications made by others.

7. Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the value of the service provided. We do not accept liability for indirect losses, consequential damages, or losses not directly caused by our work or negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other matter where limitation of liability is not permitted by law.

8. Customer-Supplied Materials and Fittings

Where you supply fittings, fixtures, or materials for us to install, we will handle these with reasonable care. However, we cannot accept liability for faults inherent in the supplied items, damage caused during installation due to the condition or quality of the item, or compatibility issues not disclosed to us prior to the visit.

We will raise any concerns about supplied fittings before installation where possible, and will not proceed where we believe the item is unsuitable for safe installation.

9. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and current but do not warrant that all information is complete or error-free at all times.

You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that may damage, disable, or impair its operation. Automated data scraping or harvesting is not permitted without written consent.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the services we provide shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be noted at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
